This Privacy Policy describes how Jaroslavna Agency collects, stores, processes, and protects the personal data of users of the website jaroslavna.agency, including the English-language section for male applicants.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” No. 2297-VI dated 01.06.2010 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — for users located in the European Union or European Economic Area.

2. What Data We Collect

When you fill out an application on our website, we may collect the following data:

• Age
• Country of residence
• Email address
• Phone number / WhatsApp (if provided)
• Occupation
• Marital status and information about children
• Photographs
• Free-text description of yourself and your preferences for a partner
• How you found our agency

The following data is also recorded automatically: IP address, date and time of form submission, and the fact of consent to this Privacy Policy.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We process personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

• Reviewing your application and assessing compatibility

• Selecting and arranging introductions with women in our database
• Improving the quality of our matchmaking services

We do not use your data for advertising, do not sell your data to third parties, and do not use it for marketing purposes without your separate consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent (Art. 6 of Ukrainian Law No. 2297-VI; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) — provided when you submit your application by checking the consent box.
• Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — processing is necessary for the provision of matchmaking services or steps prior to entering into a contract.

5. Sharing Data with Third Parties

As part of our matchmaking process, your profile may be presented to women in our database. This profile is prepared by our team and may include: selected photographs, first name, age, country of residence, and a description of you as written by our matchmakers.

We do not share the following without your explicit consent: last name, phone number, email address, or any direct contact information.

Women see only the profile prepared by our team — not your original application, not your contact details.

We do not share your data with advertising platforms, analytics services (except anonymized statistics), or any other third parties unrelated to the provision of our services.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is stored for the entire duration of cooperation with the agency.

After cooperation ends, data is stored for no more than 3 years, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

You may request early deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request information about what personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of all your data (right to erasure / “right to be forgotten”)
• Withdraw your consent to data processing at any time
• Request restriction of data processing
• File a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) or with an EU supervisory authority (for users in EU countries)
