Applying
Is applying free?
Yes. Applying is free, and so is the first consultation with our team. Neither commits you to anything. Matchmaking itself is a paid service: you choose a six-month or annual program, we tell you its full cost and terms, and you sign a contract before the first payment.
What happens after I apply?
We read your application ourselves and write back by email or WhatsApp with a few questions. If we see a realistic chance of helping you, we invite you to a free video consultation with our team. Afterwards both sides decide whether to work together — and if we cannot help, we say so honestly.
Can I ask a question before applying?
Yes. Write to us on WhatsApp or by email, or use the form on our Contact page. Asking a question is not an application, and it commits you to nothing.
Matchmaking
Who will be my matchmaker?
You work with our matchmakers as a team. Olga Shalumova founded the agency in Kyiv in 2004, and Tatiana joined in 2010; they read applications and answer messages themselves, and our team supports you through each stage of your program.
Where are the women you introduce from?
From Ukraine and other countries of Eastern Europe, with Ukraine as our main focus. That is where the women we introduce are from — where someone lives today is a separate question. Tell us in your application what matters to you, and our matchmakers take it into account.
How do you verify participants?
Both the women we introduce and our clients are verified. We pay particular attention to confirming identity and to the accuracy of the information provided. We do not accept anonymous profiles.
Do women pay for your services, and does the agency pay them?
Our services are free for women. We do not pay women for messaging, video introductions or meetings with men.
Do I need to speak Ukrainian or Russian?
No. Language support during video introductions is included for clients who work with us directly, so you can communicate comfortably from the first conversation. The program does not include ongoing translation of your private communication after contact details have been exchanged. If you need language support at a later stage, please ask us.
How are video introductions arranged?
Our matchmakers look for a woman whose values and plans fit yours, and we arrange a video call only with both sides' prior agreement to that particular meeting. Language support is included in the fee and provided when needed. The video call itself commits neither of you. We pass on contact details after the remaining balance has been paid, when the interest is mutual and with the woman's prior agreement specifically to passing them on.

Agreeing to a video call does not mean agreeing to exchange contact details. You pay the balance once per program, not for each introduction or exchange of contact details.
What is included in a matchmaking program?
The personal work our matchmakers do for you: understanding what you are looking for, selecting candidates, arranging video introductions with both sides' prior agreement, language support included in the fee and provided when needed, passing on contact details after the balance is paid, with mutual interest and the woman's prior agreement specifically to passing them on, and feedback and support while we work together. You pay for travel, accommodation and other expenses related to in-person meetings yourself.
How much does the service cost?
The cost depends on the program, not on who you are: six-month or annual. At a free consultation, we tell you the full cost and terms before you sign a contract. The terms are set out in the contract. You pay after signing; the first payment counts towards the total cost. If you continue working with us, you pay the remaining balance once per program. There are no hidden fees.
What to expect
What happens if there is no mutual interest?
That is a normal part of matchmaking. We talk through what did and did not fit and take your impressions into account in our further work. You can stop or continue working with us by paying the remaining balance — once per program. You can pay it before or after your first video introductions, whether or not mutual interest has developed. The first payment alone is not enough to continue matchmaking.
Do you guarantee a relationship or marriage?
No. We take responsibility for careful matchmaking and well-prepared introductions; what happens between two people is theirs to decide. We cannot guarantee mutual interest, a relationship or marriage, or how long it will take.
How long does it take?
We cannot promise a timeframe. It depends on what you are looking for, your availability for introductions and the people you meet. The duration of our work is set out in your contract.
