Olga still leads the agency’s matchmaking. What began as an experiment became her life’s work.
Olga personally selects potential matches, without algorithms or mass mailings of profiles. She trusts a real conversation and experience more than a match on paper, so she gets to know people before she suggests an introduction.

Tatiana selects matches and supports clients through each stage of their program. Together with Olga, she reads applications and answers messages by email, on WhatsApp and in other messaging apps.
Our matchmakers talk with both the man and the woman before they suggest an introduction. Each suggestion comes from their own judgement, not from an algorithm or a catalogue.
If we do not see a realistic chance of helping you, we tell you so. We do not promise mutual interest, marriage or a timeframe.
A woman agrees to each video introduction in advance. Either of you can decline an introduction or decide not to continue.
2004
Olga Shalumova founded Jaroslavna. In the early years, Olga worked with paper applications, met clients in person and collaborated with partner agencies in France and the United States.
2010
Tatiana joined Olga, and the agency began working with partners in Germany.
Today
Introductions now begin with a video call, and our clients live in many countries. Our matchmakers still make each selection personally. More than 500 couples have met through Jaroslavna since 2004.
