Garry is a police officer in the United Kingdom. Elena is a doctor of philosophy and a university lecturer. Two adults with established lives, in different countries, brought together by Jaroslavna.
The agency arranged a video call on Skype. After that first conversation, Elena and Garry decided to carry on and exchanged contact details.
Meeting in person only became possible in the spring of 2021 — six months after they met. All that time they talked online, got to know each other and kept finding more in common.
