Katerina from Ukraine and Gerry from Norway were introduced in June 2023. Six months later, at Christmas, Gerry proposed.
Jaroslavna arranged the introduction in the summer of 2023. Katerina was already living in Norway by then, which made the logistics simpler but did not make finding a partner any easier. Finding your person in a country that is not your own, without the circle of people you grew up with, is exactly the task a matchmaker helped with.
From their first meetings it was clear there was a real connection between them. Six months of talking, travelling together and getting to know each other brought both of them to the point where they were ready for the next step.
In December 2023, at Christmas, Gerry proposed to Katerina. She said yes.
At the time, they were living in Norway and preparing for the wedding.
