Liliya from Ukraine and William from the United States met through Jaroslavna. On 20 November 2020 they married — in the middle of the pandemic, when the borders were closed and nobody knew what the next month would look like.
Closed borders and quarantine restrictions did not stop them. The couple went through everything that talking at a distance and arranging meetings under pandemic conditions involved, and came through it to their wedding.
After the wedding they were living in the United States, building a future together.
